In the middle and mountainous area of …Kakegawa City, which is located in the central and western part of the prefecture, there is a tea plantation based on the "World Agricultural Heritage Tea Plantation Farming Method" at the foot of Awagatake Mountain at an altitude of 532m.
This tea-producing area, one of the best in the prefecture, is regarded as a village, and the village is surrounded by tea fields, forests, headwaters and small hot springs.
